MIGHTY 590 SHOPPING SPREE CONTEST RULES

1. Contest Introduction

News Radio 590 KLBJ and the Shops at the Galleria are giving away $100 gift cards to the Shops at the Galleria to 54 lucky winners.  KLBJ will be giving away 3 $100 gift cards everyday for 9days at 8am and 9 am, on the 10th day we’re giving away a GRAND PRIZE of $600, as more specifically described below.  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.    SEE OFFICIAL GENERAL CONTEST RULES FOR OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT APPLY.  

2. Contest Description

Log on to 590KLBJ.com and be the 590, 591, or 592 person to scratch and win every Monday through Friday at 8 am and again 9 am from 4/28/08-5/8/08 for your chance to win a $100 gift card to the Shops at the Galleria.  If you are the 590, 591, or 592 winning scratcher a congratulatory message will appear on your screen along with an area for you to fill out your information.   Be sure to complete all required fields in order to redeem your prize. You will also be qualified to win the GRAND PRIZE of $600 on 5/9/08.

3. Selecting a Winner

Beginning on 4/28/08 and continuing periodically thereafter through and including 5/8/08 as announced “on the air” and the station’s website, KLBJ will give away 3 $100 gift cards to the Shops at the Galleria at 8 am and 3 at 9 am,.  The 590,591, and 592 scratchers must complete all necessary fields that pop up to win and will be qualified to win the GRAND PRIZE of $600 .  You will be contacted shortly to confirm that your information was received.  The odds of winning vary depending upon the number of eligible participants.

4. Description of Prizes

Prize: 60 gift card to the Shops at the Galleria estimated value of $100.00 (US) each.

5. How to Enter

Beginning 4/28/08 eligible participants may register as follows:

A. By Website.  Register online at www.590klbj.com.  Click on the link entitled, “Mighty 590 Shopping Spree,” complete the registration form and submit your entry.

KLBJ 590 AM must receive all entries no later than 9:30 am central time on 5/8/08. 

6. Winner Notification

On winning, KLBJ 590 AM will notify the winner by an instant message that will appear on the contestant’s computer screen..  Unless KLBJ specifies a shorter time, the winner[s] shall have 30 days from the time of notification to claim the prize by contacting KLBJ and arranging a time to pick-up the prize at the station’s studio office.  Failure to claim the prize by the 30 day deadline results in a forfeiture of the prize. 

7. Eligibility

Contest is open to all legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older.  Eligible minors must have parent or legal guardian sign a release on the minor’s behalf to be eligible to receive the prize, and KLBJ reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of a minor.  Employees of Emmis Communications Corporation, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and successor companies, contest sponsors, participating advertisers, and immediate family members of anyone so situated are prohibited from participating in the contest.  “Immediate family members” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents and grandchildren, whether “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage, remarriage, adoption, co-habitation or other familial extension, and any other persons residing at the same household location, whether or not related.
